This 6-hour online course is designed for adults 18–24 years old who have never been licensed before, but it can also be taken by adults 25+ who want to learn safe driving principles and qualify for insurance discounts.

Certificates Explained
ADE-1317 Certificate of Completion
After finishing all 6 hours and passing the final exam (70% minimum), students automatically receive their ADE-1317 Certificate.
This certificate is required by DPS to obtain a Texas driver license if the student is between 18–24 years old.
It also qualifies adults 25+ for potential insurance discounts.
This certificate = proof you have completed state-approved driver education for adults.
